Welcome to another year of Divination.
It has been my dismay to see the Divine Arts abused by so-called 'fortune tellers'. It is my firm opinion that the Divine Arts should be taught by one who is part of them. I assure you that, each and every prediction or prophecy spoken by myself, in class, is one-hundred percent authentic.
In order to keep order while delving into the Divine Arts, I require you all abide by a few, simple rules:
I.Enter my classroom with an open mind.
II.Show respect to myself, your peers, and my equipment.
III. When homework is assigned, please complete it on time, to the best of your knowledge.
IV. Please try to stay actively participating in class.
V. In the end, my word is law.
I hope to touch bases on the lives of various Seers throughout history. Expect to have one large essay project during the course of the year. The Ministry of Magic requires that you learn the famed 'art' of fortune telling. I am forced to teach the...rubbish to you, but heed my warning: You will never use any method but the teacup reading, which I find works.
Class Run-through:
-Enter and make yourself comfortable.
-Check the board for the assignment. Copy it into your notes.
--Welcome and Teacher's Monolouge.
--'Theory' portion of the class
--'Practical' portion of the class*Not always is there one*
--Assignment is given
--End five-fifteen minutes to work on the assignment.
-Dismissal.
Grading Scale
Q-10 points
A- 8 points
B- 6 points
C- 4 points
D- 0 points.
F- -5 points, and a detention.
*If an assignment is not turned in, you will be given a detention.
If there is anything that I can assist you in, please feel free to stop into my office and we shall discuss them.
Sincerely,
Professor C.E.Thorne
